Driving test routes
A driving test route (also called a practice route) is a sample route near an exam centre, built around the traffic situations you encounter there most often. OefenRoutes brings these routes together clearly per exam centre, so you can practise in a targeted way for what you might actually encounter during your practical test.
What exactly is a driving test route?
The examiner chooses a route on the day itself, so our routes aren’t an exact copy of your exam route. They do, however, give a reliable picture of the type of roads, junctions, roundabouts and school zones around the exam centre, so you won’t be caught off guard.
Why practise a route in advance?
By driving a route in advance, together with your driving instructor or an adult supervisor, you build confidence in an environment you don’t know yet. You learn to anticipate faster at busy junctions and cyclists, and get into the car more confidently on the day of your exam.
